Municipal Management Services, Inc. (MMS), located at 395 W Lake Street, in Elmhurst, IL, was founded in 2012 to provide cost effective personnel services to local units of government.
Although the company name is new, we have used this model for many years, in many communities. We have been providing administrative, records, clerical, and custodial personnel through our Metro and NORCOMM brands too many satisfied clients. We felt that with the economic challenges that local governments are experiencing, the time to create another specialized company to provide more specific services had arrived.
MMS is the newest venture of its affiliate company, Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Service, Inc. (Superior), which has also diversified into Metro Paramedic Services, Inc. (Metro), Norcomm Public Safety Communications, Inc. (NORCOMM), Paramedic Billing Services, Inc. (PBS), and all have common ownership. Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Services, Inc. began providing EMS services to DuPage County in 1959 before such services were being offered through Fire Departments. Since 1959, Superior has grown to be the largest independent locally owned and operated private EMS provider in the greater Chicagoland area, Rockford, IL, northwest Indiana, and Detroit, MI. Through Superior and its affiliate companies, we employ over 2,000 individuals and operate a fleet of over 400 ambulances and fleet vehicles. By integrating family values in our daily operations and corporate vision, Superior has created partnerships with over 100 renowned healthcare institutions, municipalities, industrial complexes, and fire protection districts in the Midwest.
