Beacon Bears In BlueBeacon The Bear

 

The Bears in Blue Foundation is a not-for-profit organization founded by Police Officers. The Bears in Blue Foundation will provide free teddy bears for Chapter members to give to children, who are involved in crisis situations. Psychological studies have proven that stuffed animals have a significant calming effect on children in stressful or traumatic situations.

We are requesting your support to begin providing police with teddy bears not only in the City of Chicago but our community as well.

"Beacon" the bear will be distributed to children involved in situations such as child abuse, domestic family violence, traffic fatalities, violent crimes or any case where a child is hurt or seriously endangered.

We are asking you to take the time and get involved by making a simple donation to the Foundation. Your business will then be listed as a "Corporate Sponsor" and advertised on our website. There are three levels of sponsorship (Bronze-$250, Silver-$500, Gold-$1000) that can be obtained.

Your generous donation will cover the cost of providing these teddy bears to police department law enforcement units.
